The 13 members of Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS)<\/a> Unit 339 have begun service at their project sites. The volunteers completed orientation on July 27 to Aug. 4 at Inspiration Hills Camp in Burbank, Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below are the names of the new volunteers with their congregations and\/or hometowns and project placements:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colleen Caylor<\/strong> is from Ossian, Ind., and will serve at Greenhill YMCA<\/a> in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miriam Erbaugh<\/strong> of Manchester Church of the Brethren<\/a> is from North Manchester, Ind., and will serve at Greenhill YMCA<\/a> in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

William Hart<\/strong> is from Kittery, Maine, and will serve at Gould Farm<\/a> in Monterey, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elise Harter<\/strong> is from North Manchester, Ind., and will serve at the Shalom Project<\/a> in Lancaster, Pa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samuel Hupp<\/strong> of Manchester Church of the Brethren<\/a> is from North Manchester, Ind., and will serve at the Church of the Brethren Office of Peacebuilding and Policy<\/a> in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dimitri Janko<\/strong> is from Bayern, Germany, and will serve at Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center<\/a> in Little Rock, Ark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Darek Leschber<\/strong> of Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren<\/a> is from Elgin, Ill., and will serve at Abode Shelter<\/a> in Fremont, Calif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leah Mack<\/strong> of Highland Avenue Church of the Brethren<\/a> is from Elgin, Ill., and will serve at the Bernardo Kohler Center<\/a> in Austin, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kelan McConnell<\/strong> of La Verne Church of the Brethren<\/a> is from Chino, Calif., and will serve at Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center<\/a> in Little Rock, Ark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dominic Nozzarella<\/strong> is from Washington D.C., and will serve at Washington City Church of the Brethren<\/a> and the Center on Conscience and War<\/a> in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josethy Perez<\/strong> is from Chicago, Ill., and will serve at L’Arche in Ireland<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gillian Thompson<\/strong> is from Carmel, Ind., and will serve at Greenhill YMCA<\/a> in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nico Ziegler<\/strong> is from Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, and will serve at Camp Stevens<\/a> in Julian, Calif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
