This fund directly supports our Haitian Church of the Brethren members in the US, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We urge you to take up an offering to support this fund, as this will allow church members to access legal assistance and basic necessities in this time of great need and uncertainty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Congregations needing financial help for church members facing personal and legal expenses related to immigration, asylum, or related processes may apply for grants from the fund by contacting\u202f<a href=\"mailto:ddrcobcoordinator@gmail.com\">ddrcobcoordinator@gmail.com<\/a>\u202for 561-647-8981 to receive the application form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Legal and Mutual Aid Fund<\/strong> is described at the top of the Deportation Defense Response webpage at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/intercultural\/ddr\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"www.brethren.org\/intercultural\/ddr\">www.brethren.org\/intercultural\/ddr<\/a>, where there is a link to donate online. Checks can be sent to the Church of the Brethren\u2019s Atlantic Southeast District with \u201cDDR\u201d in the memo line, mail to Atlantic Southeast District, 64954 Orchard Dr., Goshen, IN 46526.
