Church of the Brethren Venezuela<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To: Our Pastors and National Churches<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In these difficult times that our beloved Venezuela n nation is experiencing, we issue a firm and hopeful call for Calm, Prudence, and Peace<\/strong> in our conversations and interactions on social media and in social groups. The Word of God reminds us in Isaiah 26:3-4:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this certainty, we urge every family, every congregation, and every citizen to remain calm, protecting their lives and the lives of their loved ones, trusting in divine protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our global Brethren motto guides us at this time: ”Continuing the Work of Jesus, Together, with Simplicity and Peacefully in Venezuela.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May this motto be a beacon of unity, serenity, and Christian commitment, inspiring us to live with faith and hope, even in the midst of adversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us lift up our prayers of faith for the peace of Venezuela, for the strength of our communities, and for the protection of every home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En estos momentos aciagos que atraviesa nuestra amada naci\u00f3n venezolana, hacemos un llamado firme y esperanzador a la Calma, la Prudencia y la Paz<\/strong>; en nuestras conversaciones y manifestaciones en redes o grupos sociales. La Palabra de Dios nos recuerda en lsa\u00edas 26:3-4:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“T\u00fa guardar\u00e1s en completa paz a aquel cuyo pensamiento en ti persevera; porque en ti ha confiado. Confiad en Jehov\u00e1 perpetuamente, porque en Jehov\u00e1 el Se\u00f1or est\u00e1 la fortaleza de los siglos.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con esta certeza, exhortamos a cada familia, a cada congregaci\u00f3n y a cada ciudadano a mantenerse en quietud, resguardando sus vidas y las de sus seres queridos, confiando en la protecci\u00f3n divina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nuestro lema global brethren nos gu\u00eda en esta hora:
