Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) Unit 337, the 2025 summer unit, completed orientation at Camp Colorado on July 27 through Aug. 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At orientation, director Chelsea Skillen and volunteer coordinator Virginia Rendler prepared the new BVSers for their upcoming year of service as they created a supportive community with their fellow volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The nine new volunteers include five from EIRENE, a longterm partner organization based in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wesley Nance<\/strong> of Monte Vista, Colo., is assigned to Project PLASE in Baltimore, Md.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Benjamin Ajeti,<\/strong> an EIRENE volunteer from D\u00fcsseldorf, Germany, is assigned to SnowCap Food Pantry in Portland, Ore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackson Barbour<\/strong> of Decatur, Ga., is assigned to Camp Stevens in Julian, Calif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mia Dauser,<\/strong> an EIRENE volunteer from Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Germany, also is assigned to Camp Stevens<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonathan Schwarte,<\/strong> an EIRENE volunteer from M\u00fcnster, Germany, is assigned to the Center on Conscience and War in Washington D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vera Logose<\/strong> of Crowley, Texas, is assigned to the Women’s Alliance for Theology, Ethics, and Ritual in Silver Spring, Md.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ella Hedges<\/strong> of Dayton, Ohio, is assigned to Ferncliff Camp and Conference Center in Little Rock, Ark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marilyn Megala,<\/strong> an EIRENE volunteer from Neuwied, Germany, is assigned to Lydia\u2019s House in Cincinnati Ohio<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jessika Kreuzer, <\/strong>an EIRENE volunteer from Witten, Germany, is assigned to Abode Shelter in Fremont, Calif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
