This year\u2019s Song and Sory Fest, titled \u201cBlue Ridge: Singin\u2019 the Blues, Searchin\u2019 the Stars!\u201d takes place July 6-12 at Camp Brethren Woods in Keezletown, Va. This annual family camp featuring Church of the Brethren musicians and storytellers and friends is co-sponsored by On Earth Peace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCcome and sing with us!\u201d said an invitation. \u201cHear the stories of hope and new life! Recommit yourself to the journey toward justice for all, mercy for the poor and the refugee, telling the story of Jesus\u2019 love for the oppressed and heavy laden. Yes, it\u2019s time to sing the blues, but also to renew the struggle that never ends! Together we\u2019ll find some vistas of hope and understanding to rest upon and regroup! Join us as we sing the blues and search the stars!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storytellers and workshop leaders include Susan Boyer, Anna Lisa Gross, Matt Guynn, Kathy Guisewite, Jonathan Hunter, and Jim Lehman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Campfire, workshop, and concert musicians include Rhonda and Greg Baker, Louise Brodie, Hannah Button-Harrison, Erin and Cody Flory Robertson, Katie Loomis-Adams, Chris Good, Michael Overman, Sadie Gustafson-Zook, Peg Lehman, and Mike Stern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
