An interfaith prayer vigil on the evening of Thursday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. (Eastern time) held both in-person at National City Christian Church in Washington, D.C., (5 Thomas Circle NW) and online via live-stream will support a court hearing in the sensitive locations lawsuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJoin us for an interfaith prayer vigil on the eve of the first hearing of our historic lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security’s rescission of the sensitive locations memo,\u201d said an announcement from those organizing the prayer vigil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vigil will raise up prayers for the court hearing that is scheduled for Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m. (Eastern time), in the US District Court, District of Columbia, in Washington, D.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

People of faith who are supportive of the lawsuit and its effort to maintain the federal government\u2019s respect for church sanctuaries and houses of worship are welcomed. Organizers are requesting those who are able to attend in person at the National City Christian Church to help show that the faith community is unified in this effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTogether, we will gather in solidarity, lifting prayers for justice, compassion, and the protection of immigrant communities,\u201d said the invitation. \u201cAll are welcome to stand with us in this moment of faith and resolve.
