Credentialed ministers may receive 0.1 continuing education credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAn Introduction to Fresh Expressions in the Anabaptist\/Pietist Tradition\u201d will be presented by Matt Lake, lead pastor of First Church of Williamsport, Pa., an urban congregation that offers a mix of traditional and contemporary worship experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First Church hosts a network of &#8220;fresh expressions&#8221; of ministry called the Acts Network, in which people meet in places such as homes, gyms, nursing homes, parks, and even in the mountains. He is a graduate of Messiah College, where he earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Biblical Studies, and Duke Divinity School, where he earned a master of divinity degree, and also has earned a doctorate of ministry degree in Semiotics and Future Studies through Portland Seminary where he focused on developing effective models of congregational discipleship for the new day in which we find ourselves.
