Scalzi, program assistant, Children\u2019s Disaster Services<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Children\u2019s Disaster Services (CDS) is preparing to hold three new volunteer training events in September and October 2024. Our upcoming CDS Volunteer Training events are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sept. 27-28 at Frederick (Md.) Church of the Brethren<\/strong>, starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday and ending at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sept. 28-29 at Modesto (Calif.) Church of the Brethren<\/strong>, starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and ending at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Oct. 18-19 at St. John\u2019s Lutheran Church in Victor, N.Y.,<\/strong> starting at 4:30 p.m. Friday and ending at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please share this information with churches in your districts, those who are 18 years or older, who have a heart for children, and may be interested in becoming Children\u2019s Disaster Services volunteers. CDS training information and training registration links are online.
