{"id":23784,"date":"2024-06-28T17:10:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-28T17:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/news\/?p=23784"},"modified":"2024-06-28T22:21:19","modified_gmt":"2024-06-28T22:21:19","slug":"spanish-translation-at-annual-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/news\/2024\/spanish-translation-at-annual-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Spanish translation to be available at Annual Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>By Rhonda Pittman Gingrich<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reports and business items that will come before the delegate body at Annual Conference have been translated into Spanish and can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brethren.org\/ac2024\/business\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"www.brethren.org\/ac2024\/business\">www.brethren.org\/ac2024\/business<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of the reports and business items were translated using Google Translate, then the Mission and Ministry Board report, the Program and Arrangements Committee report, and each of the unfinished and new items of business were reviewed for accuracy by a team of volunteers. The other reports all carry a disclaimer that they were translated using Google Translate, but not reviewed for accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will be working with the Hispanic Center of West Michigan to provide professional simultaneous Spanish interpretation during all business sessions.
