The conference was led by Roger Moreno, who is president of ASIGLEH. The conference included teaching on Brethren beliefs and practices, several sermons, challenges for mission, and business sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International guests who shared in teaching and preaching were Marcos Inhauser from Igreja da Irmandade (the Church of the Brethren in Brazil) and Joel Pe\u00f1a, Leonor Ochoa, and Bob Kettering from the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Greetings were shared through video by Eric Miller, director of Global Mission for the Church of the Brethren, and Joel Billi, president of Ekklesiyar Yan\u2019uwa a Nigeria (EYN, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\"><div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"430\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/ASIGLEHannualconference-byJoelPena-600px.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23508\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/ASIGLEHannualconference-byJoelPena-600px.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/ASIGLEHannualconference-byJoelPena-600px-300x215.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/03\/ASIGLEHannualconference-byJoelPena-600px-560x401.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference concluded with a four-hour love feast with a meal, feetwashing, communion, anointing for the 120 in attendance, a service of commissioning of church leaders, licensing and ordaining of pastors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Representatives from three Colombian churches were also in attendance.
