Aida L. S\u00e1nchez has resigned from her position as coordinator of Spanish-Language Ministry Training Programs effective May 26. S\u00e1nchez began her work with the Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership, a collaboration of the Church of the Brethren\u2019s Office of Ministry and Bethany Theological Seminary, in March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is a 2019 graduate of Seminario Biblico Anabautista Hispano de la Iglesia de Los Hermanos, the academy\u2019s ministry training program for Spanish speakers. S\u00e1nchez also attended the Interamerican University of Aguadilla in Puerto Rico, where she majored in education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ordained in the Church of the Brethren, S\u00e1nchez has been a church planter with Nuevo Comienzo Church of the Brethren in Kissimmee, Fla. From 2009 to 2016, she co-pastored Nuevo Amanecer Church of the Brethren in Bethlehem, Pa. She also has served as a \u201ccircuit rider\u201d for the Part-time Pastor, Full-time Church program and as director of district programs for Atlantic Southeast District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
