She will begin her duties on Feb. 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cart-Turner brings a wide array of skills and experience to this position. She holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in education from Liberty University and a master\u2019s degree in Public Affairs from O&#8217;Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She has a wide array of experience, from serving as a missionary in Brazil, where she led a volunteer teacher program and worked as a doula, to recent roles as a research assistant and analyst since returning to the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She lives in Indianapolis, Ind., with her family, and grew up in Christ Our Shepherd Church of the Brethren on the southside of Indianapolis.
