This new position oversees a merged department that includes the Office of Ministry and Discipleship Ministries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 2009-2017, Polzin was district executive minister for the Church of the Brethren\u2019s Michigan District. From 2007 to present, he was instrumental in planting and pastoring the Church in Drive in Saginaw, Mich., serving students at Saginaw Valley State University. He also currently pastors Midland (Mich.)
