Clergy clients now make up 86 percent of her client base. She was ordained in 2004 when she was called by Living Peace Church of the Brethren in Columbus, Ohio, to be their peace minister to the wider community. She served as chair of the board of Southern Ohio District 2007-2011 and as moderator of Southern Ohio and Kentucky District in 2018.
