The Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) Units 322 and 323 have completed orientation and their members have begun work at their placement sites. The new volunteers\u2019 names, congregations or hometowns, and placements follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BVS Unit 322:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Judy Carl<\/strong> of Pomona (Calif.) Church of the Brethren is serving with the Asian Rural Institute in Tochigi-ken, Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janine Dietle<\/strong> of Essen, Germany, is serving with Abode Services in Fremont, Calif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cara Hudson<\/strong> of McPherson (Kan.) Church of the Brethren is serving with Gould Farm in Monterey, Mass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lea Kroener<\/strong> of Bochum, Germany, and Alex McBride<\/strong> of Union Center Church of the Brethren, are serving with SnowCap Food Pantry in Portland, Ore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susu Lassa<\/strong> of Jos, Nigeria, is serving with the Church of the Brethren Office of Peacebuilding and Policy in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamie McBride<\/strong> of Union Center Church of the Brethren is serving with The Palms of Sebring, Fla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maddy Minehart<\/strong> of Butler, Ind., is serving with Lebanon Lancaster (Pa.) Habitat for Humanity Restore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
