College comes up on Jan. 16, titled \u201cThe Road We Travel&#8230;a Journey Shared.\u201d Deb and Dale Ziegler will share about their journey of loss, grief, and healing since September 2012 when their 19-year-old son&#8211;a college student at McPherson&#8211;was killed while riding his bicycle.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the Zieglers will give a presentation about the loss of their son, Paul, who was a person full of life, ideas, and a passionate desire for peace. His last text before his ride read, \u201cI&#8217;m going on a bike ride to be with God.\u201d His parents will remind participants that sometimes on the journey of loss, grief, and healing, we walk alone&#8211;and at other times we have companions. Ventures participants will hear their story of grace extended, and grace received, and resources they have found to be helpful along the way.<\/p>\n<p>The fee for attending the Ventures classes recently changed from a $15 registration fee, to a donation. Participants can register to attend the event at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcpherson.edu\/ventures\">www.mcpherson.edu\/ventures<\/a> for a donation.
