The summer unit of Brethren Volunteer Service, which is the 309th BVS unit, has completed training and the volunteers have been assigned to their project sites. The names, home towns, and project sites of the members of BVS Unit 309 follow:<\/p>\n

Elena Anderson-Williams<\/strong> of Mountain View, Calif., will volunteer with Quaker Cottage in Belfast, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Annika Fuchs<\/strong> of Freiburg, Germany, is volunteering at the Washington (D.C.) City Church of the Brethren.<\/p>\n

Debbie Kossman<\/strong> of Dulsburg, Germany, will volunteer with Sisters of the Road in Portland, Ore.<\/p>\n

Emily Landes<\/strong> of Centennial, Colo., is going to Quaker Cottage in Belfast, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Isa Mahmut<\/strong> of Herford, Germany, and Kathi Muller<\/strong> of Schwarzach, Germany, will work with ABODE Services in Fremont, Calif.<\/p>\n

Gillian Miller<\/strong> of Colstrip, Mont., is serving with the Ecumenical Women\u2019s Initiative in Omis, Croatia.<\/p>\n

Bernd and Maggie Phoenix<\/strong> of Santa Fe, N.M., are serving as co-directors of the World Friendship Center in Hiroshima, Japan.<\/p>\n

Abel Tewelde<\/strong> of Goppingen, Germany, is working at Project PLASE in Baltimore, Md.<\/p>\n

Adam and Grael Weaver<\/strong> of Kalona, Iowa, have been posted to East Belfast Mission in Belfast, Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Anna Zakelj<\/strong> of Modoc, Ind., is serving with SnowCap Food Pantry in Portland, Ore.<\/p>\n
