Stan Dueck has been selected to fill the role of director of Discipleship Ministries for the Church of the Brethren’s Atlantic Northeast District. He is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren who most recently worked on the denominational staff in the Discipleship and Leadership Formation department.
Melissa Fritz concludes her work with Material Resources
Melissa Fritz on July 8 concluded her work as a packer with the Material Resources program of the Church of the Brethren. The program is located at the Brethren Service Center in New Windsor, Md. This layoff is due to the upcoming closure of the Material Resources program at the end of 2025.

Jose Rudy Amaya, a member of Conexion Pasadena (Calif.) Church of the Brethren, began June 1 as the first associate district executive minister intern for the Church of the Brethren’s Pacific Southwest District.

James Miner to retire from the Church of the Brethren Yearbook staff
James (Jim) Miner has announced his retirement as Yearbook specialist for the Church of the Brethren, as of June 26. In this role, which he began nine years ago in November 2016, he has been responsible for creating the annual Church of the Brethren Yearbook.
