Camp Colorado turns 75! Seventy-five impactful summers of campfires, late-night conversations and worship, and young people going home different than they arrived. Seventy-five years of volunteers giving their weekends, skills, and hearts so that something special can happen in the mountains.

Gene Hollenberg announces his retirement from leadership of Camp Mack

Gene Hollenberg has announced his plan to retire as executive director of Camp Alexander Mack in Milford, Ind., at the end of the year. He has served in the position for almost 10 years, since September 2016. He previously gave 40 years of volunteer leadership.

Camp Mack celebrates its centennial

“Camp Mack is 100 years old!” said Gene Hollenberg, executive director of Camp Alexander Mack in Milford, Ind., greetings hundreds who braved hot weather to attend an evening worship service on Sunday, Aug. 10, in the camp’s Quinter Auditorium. “We are so glad you came to join us for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration!”

Blue Ridge Song and Story Fest will ‘sing the blues, search the stars’

This year’s Song and Sory Fest, titled “Blue Ridge: Singin’ the Blues, Searchin’ the Stars!” takes place July 6-12 at Camp Brethren Woods in Keezletown, Va. This annual family camp featuring Church of the Brethren musicians and storytellers and friends is co-sponsored by On Earth Peace.
