The Church of the Brethren provides scholarships of up to $2,000 for RN and graduate nurse candidates and up to $1,000 for LPN candidates. These scholarships are awarded to a limited number of applicants each year, made possible by the Health, Education, and Research Endowment. Three nursing students are recipients of Church of the Brethren Nursing Scholarships for 2021. Project arises from Jesus’ teachings in Matthew 25. Characteristics of Jesus’ followers are those who care for the hungry, thirsty, unclothed, sick, and imprisoned. The Haiti Medical Project helps meet these needs of the people in Haiti.
