Chris Douglas to retire from the Church of the Brethren staff

Chris Douglas will retire from the Church of the Brethren staff on Oct. 1. She has worked for the denomination for more than 35 years, since 1985. Most recently, she has served as director of the Church of the Brethren Annual Conference.

Nominations are being accepted for all Annual Conference-elected offices in 2016 including Annual Conference moderator-elect; Program and Arrangements Committee member; Mission and Ministry Board members for Areas 3, 4, and 5; On Earth Peace Board member; Brethren Benefit Trust board member; Bethany Theological Seminary laity and college representatives; and Pastoral Compensation and Benefits Committee member. Douglas Is Honored for Her Years of Service as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry

2010 National Youth Conference of the Church of the Brethren Fort Collins, Colo. — July 20, 2010   Chris Douglas (right) is honored for her years of service as the Church of the Brethren’s director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Douglas resigned last year from the youth ministry position to become the Conference director for the church.
