Victoria (Vicki) Ehret resigns from role with Atlantic Southeast District

Victoria (Vicki) Ehret has resigned as director of administration for the District Executive Minister Team of the Church of the Brethren’s Atlantic Southeast District. She began in the position as interim district executive minister on Jan. 25, 2021, for a period of six months, after which she transitioned to her present role. She will conclude her role by June 30, or sooner, upon the hiring by the district board of an interim to fill the position.

An ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren, Ehret has been active in district ministry since 2002. During her years as the district representative to the Council of District Executives, she served most recently on the Gifts Discernment Team. Previous to her current leadership position, she has served the district as clerk, moderator of the district conference, and TRIM and SeBAH-CoB coordinator. She also was pastor of the Celebration of Christ Church in St. Petersburg, Fla., for seven years.

She is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., with a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in secondary education. She completed the Training in Ministry program of the Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership in 2008. Prior to her career in ministry, she was a public and private school teacher in Indiana and Florida for 31 years. She and her family live in Indianapolis.
