Registration is still open for the Ecumenical Advocacy Days Spring Summit 2024, an in-person event on May 17-19 in Washington, D.C. The Church of the Brethren’s Office of Peacebuilding and Policy is a sponsor of the event and director Nathan Hosler is on the planning team, alongside other ecumenical partners.
The theme is “Faith in Action: Advancing Human Rights and Peace for All.” Participants will have the opportunity to gather in person to connect with their peers, especially in this election year, and will receive advocacy training. The planners hope for new and growing participant categories of seminary students and young adults, and plan to offer a chance for those who work with domestic and international priorities to connect and share.
“Ultimately, we want the universal voice of God, one of compassion, justice and peace, to be lifted during these challenging times,” said an announcement.
