Registration for FaithX 2024 is opening on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 7 p.m. (Eastern time) at www.brethren.org/faithx. The schedule, pricing, and more details about FaithX trips for 2024 is at www.brethren.org/faithx/schedule.
The theme for the 2024 season of these short-term service trips (formerly the Workcamp Ministry) is “Beloved,” inspired by 1 John 4:7: “Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
From the theme statement: “Every one of us serving on a FaithX trip is a child of God–beloved, blessed, and beautiful. Just as we are loved by God, so are those whom we serve. We are all beloved children of God and we are commanded to care for each other in this way. As siblings in Christ, we take the time to listen to each other and serve each other, recognizing the holy in every single person. God has taught us how to love in the way God loves us, therefore, we must go and love one another, letting Christ’s light shine through our words and actions. God is love and we serve others so that they may feel God’s love and know they too are ‘Beloved,’ children of God.”
