Salvador Campero, who has been serving with the Church of the Brethren as manager of Buildings and Grounds in Elgin, Ill., has been promoted to the position of director of Buildings and Grounds-Elgin. With this promotion, he will take on more responsibility for the oversight of the entire Buildings and Grounds work, including energy contracts, development of emergency preparedness procedures, and mechanical maintenance timetables. Salvador has been an employee of the Church of the Brethren since Dec. 26, 2018.
