Nathan Polzin has been hired by the Church of the Brethren as executive director of Discipleship and Leadership Formation, beginning April 10. This new position oversees a merged department that includes the Office of Ministry and Discipleship Ministries.
From 2009-2017, Polzin was district executive minister for the Church of the Brethren’s Michigan District. From 2007 to present, he was instrumental in planting and pastoring the Church in Drive in Saginaw, Mich., serving students at Saginaw Valley State University. He also currently pastors Midland (Mich.) Church of the Brethren and provides coaching, team building, training, and consulting services through Polzin Coaching and Consulting.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Central Michigan University and a master of divinity from Bethany Theological Seminary.
