The Nominating Committee of the Standing Committee of district delegates to the Church of the Brethren Annual Conference is presenting the following ballot for the 2023 Conference.
The elections will be held during the annual meeting taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 4-8, 2023.

Moderator-elect
Dava Hensley pastors Roanoke (Va.) First Church of the Brethren in Virlina District. She is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren. Her involvements at the denominational level include service on the Mission and Ministry Board and the New Church Development Committee, and as a preacher at Annual Conference, National Youth Conference, and National Older Adult Conference. At the district level she has served as district moderator and on the district board and executive board, and on a race relations committee. Her congregation, which is part of an ecumenical group of four churches called the Northwest Faith Partnership, also has hosted a Hispanic ministry for 11 years.
Del Keeney, of Mechanicsburg (Pa.) Church of the Brethren in Southern Pennsylvania District, is an ordained minister and retired pastor. He is a former executive director of Congregational Life Ministries for the Church of the Brethren, during his tenure supervising intercultural and church planting efforts, work related to evangelism, and more. His experience at the district level has included serving on a district board and on the board of Camp Swatara. He has done training in leadership practices and tools for the Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership and the Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center, where he was board chair. His international experience has included a 2009 visit to Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN, the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria).
