The Church of the Brethren Office of Ministry has issued its annual e-packet of compensation documents to the 24 district offices for distribution to congregations. In addition, a new webpage on the Office of Ministry portion of the website (https://www.brethren.org/ministryoffice/compensation/) has been launched as a clearinghouse for the new annual compensation documents developed by the Pastoral Compensation and Benefits Advisory Committee and recently approved by the 2022 Annual Conference.
These resources are available for congregations to use in negotiations and renewal of pastoral agreements. A new feature this year is a Compensation Calculator created in cooperation with Eder Financial and hosted on their webpage (https://pccalc.azurewebsites.net).
Some documents included in the packet and available at the new Office of Ministry webpage are:
- 2023 Integrated Annual Ministry Agreement (IAMA) (fillable)
- Minimum Cash Salary Table and Guidelines
- Compensation Calculator
- Shared Ministry Priorities Agreement (fillable)
- Guidelines for Pastors’ Salaries and Benefits
The previous annual start-up and renewal agreements for pastors and congregations have been replaced by the Integrated Annual Ministry Agreement (IAMA), which is available on the new compensation page as a fillable and downloadable document.
