Brethren Volunteer Service (BVS) Unit 332 held orientation at Camp Brethren Heights in Rodney, Mich., from Oct. 11-20 for nine volunteers. BVS has changed the orientation and placement process, so volunteers are now pre-placed prior to orientation.
Here are the volunteers in Unit 332, their hometowns and/or congregations, and their project placements:

Elisabeth Berthel of Berlin, Germany, will be serving at Camp Stevens in Julian, Calif.
Ben Brubaker of South Bend, Ind., who is from Crest Manor Church of the Brethren, will be serving at New Bethany Ministries in Bethlehem, Pa.
Val Brubaker of South Bend, Ind., who is from Crest Manor Church of the Brethren, will be serving at New Bethany Ministries in Bethlehem, Pa.
Emma Dowd of West Hartford, Conn., will be serving at Corrymeela in Northern Ireland beginning in January 2023.
Clara Grabenhorst of Westfalen, Germany, will be serving at Project PLASE in Baltimore, Md.
Kurt Malchow of Cologne, Germany, will be serving at Camp Stevens in Julian, Calif.
Patrice Rupp of Württemberg, Germany, will be serving at WATER in Washington, D.C.
Caleb Samland of Moundridge, Kan., who is from McPherson Church of the Brethren, will be serving at La Puente Home in Alamosa, Colo.
Silas Seil of Kiel, Germany, will be serving at Project PLASE in Baltimore, Md.
