Beth Sollenberger is concluding her service as interim district executive minister and member of the Michigan District Executive Leadership Team over the past several years. She has served in an interim role for the last several years, specifically during the calendar year of 2018 and then beginning again in May 2020. In January 2022, she was called to another interim term. She will conclude her service on Dec. 31.
During these years of faithful service, she has connected with congregations in the Michigan District across the theological spectrum, meeting their needs while at the same time serving as district executive minister of the Church of the Brethren’s South Central Indiana District, a role she concluded upon her retirement from that position on Dec. 31, 2021.
Please pray… For the continuing work of Michigan District leadership, as Beth Sollenberger concludes her work in leadership of the district.
As the district searches for new leadership, Michigan District will continue to be served by the District Executive Leadership Team:
— Dan Rossman continues in a part-time volunteer position as director of Pastoral and Congregational Support. He is a member of the New Haven congregation.
— Wendy Russell, a member of Living Peace congregation, serves as the district’s Leadership Team chair.
— Frank Polzin, a member of the Church in Drive congregation, is the team’s representative to Camp Brethren Heights.
— Jennifer Betts Pendragon serves as administrative assistant.
