Bdagu suffers repeated attacks

Bdagu, in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State, not far from Sambisa Forest, has been attacked several times. Many people were killed in the Christian populated village.

According to the secretary of the church district, Dauda Ijigil, their situation is “very bad. Some find shelter in ruins, others with relatives, while the larger numbers [shelter] at one Vocational Training Centre, Lassa.”

Lassa community had hosted thousands of displaced people before the town was obliterated in the violence, with houses, public buildings, churches, and Bible schools razed.
