Next Church Planting Conference is set for May 2018

Christiana Rice will be a keynote speaker and presenter at the Church Planting Conference hosted at Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, Ind., on May 16-19, 2018. The conference is sponsored by the Church of the Brethren Congregational Life Ministries.

The conference theme is “The Risk and Reward of Embodying Jesus Locally,” with the conference  text from John 1:14a.

Christiana Rice is an on-the-ground practitioner and visionary voice in the missional movement, serving as a coach and trainer with Thresholds ( thresholdscommunity.org ), a community that helps people create spaces of discovery and communities of transformation. She seeks to participate in God’s restorative mission, leading a neighborhood faith community in San Diego, Calif. She grew up in Tokyo, Japan, a daughter of missionaries to that country.
