“Chamber music at the McPherson Church of the Brethren,” McPherson (Kan.) Sentinel (May 6, 2013) – The McPherson Community Brass Choir will perform at the McPherson Church of the Brethren at 4 p.m May 12. “Nigeria: Gunmen Kill 14, Injure 12 in Adamawa, Borno States,” (May 6, 2013) – Gunmen on Sunday attacked members of the Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN-the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria) Church in Jilang village of Mahia Local Government Area in Adamawa State killing 10 persons and injuring 12 others. The attack on the church came on the heels of an earlier attack by suspected members of the Boko Haram sect on Saturday in Ngamdu, a border town, resulting in the death of two Islamic clerics and two other residents of the town. “Church of the Brethren auction to support disaster relief,” Carroll County (Md.)
