Conference Confirms Nominees to Boards of Church Agencies

224th Annual Conference of the Church of the Brethren

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — July 6, 2010

The Annual Conference today confirmed the nominations and appointments of a number of people to serve on boards of Church of the Brethren agencies:

Confirmations of board members to the Church of the Brethren Mission and Ministry Board: Rebecca Ball-Miller of Goshen, Ind., and Brian Messler of Emmitsburg, Md.

Newly named to the On Earth Peace board are: Carol Mason of Centralia, Wash., and Donna Shumate of Sparta, N.C.

Named as trustees of Bethany Theological Seminary are: Elaine Gibbel of Lititz, Pa., and Paul Wampler of Manassas, Va.

The Brethren Benefit Trust board received confirmation of its appointees: Eunice Culp of Goshen, Ind.; Karen Orpurt Crim of Dayton, Ohio; and Michael B. Leiter of Frederick, Md.
