Augustin Badet serves as Director of Haitian Ministries, part of the District Executive Leadership Team at the Atlantic Southeast District Church of the Brethren.  She is invested in tangible ways in her community as Pastor of Jesus Lounge Ministry, and is the Administrative Secretary and founder of Women of Impossibilities. Currently, Founa also serves as Palm Beach County Council PTA, VP of Leadership, and Nominating Committee Chair for S.D. Spady Elementary PTA. Founa is wife to Herman and mother to Valencia, Josias and Loudyn. Along with his wife and kids, Ryan planted the Veritas Community in 2009.  He has also served with the New and Renew Team of the denomination since 2016 in helping to coordinate the bi-annual New and Renew Conference, as well as help to train, resource, equip, and support church planting in the denomination.  Ryan is the husband of Kim and father to Kaiden and Trinity.  Ryan has a Bachelors of Science in Telecommunications from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Religion from Evangelical Theological Seminary.  Besides his work with Veritas, Ryan likes to read, listen to music, watch movies, snowboard and spend time with his family.  <\/p>\n            <\/div><!--\/.media-body-->\n        <\/div><!--\/.media-->\n<hr>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"media\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"media-object pull-left\" style=\"padding-right: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brethren.org\/ministryoffice\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2023\/04\/Mayra-Calix.jpg\">\n            <div class=\"media-body\">\n                <h3 class=\"media-heading\">Mayra Calix, Lancaster, Pennsylvania (sirviendo nacionalmente como &#8220;acompa\u00f1ante del circuito&#8221;) <\/h3>\n                <p>Mayra C\u00e1lix ha sido miembro de la Iglesia Alpha y Omega CoB en el Atl\u00e1ntico noreste por m\u00e1s de veinte a\u00f1os. En la actualidad es un Ministro Licenciado, Mayra se gradu\u00f3 del programa de la Academia de los Hermanos SeBAH en el a\u00f1o 2019. Durante sus a\u00f1os en el ministerio, ella ha servido a la comunidad hispana en diferentes capacidades. Ella ha trabajado por los \u00faltimos 18 a\u00f1os como especialista de apoyo al estudiante en el Programa de Educaci\u00f3n para Migrantes de PA ubicado en la universidad de Millersville.  Esto le permite conectar con muchas familias migrantes, apoy\u00e1ndolas y conect\u00e1ndolas con los diferentes programas disponibles en la comunidad. Mayra est\u00e1 casada con Liborio C\u00e1lix por 33 a\u00f1os y tienen tres hijos maravillosos y dos asombrosos nietos, Kevin (quien parti\u00f3 con el Se\u00f1or), Kathleen y Elizabeth Calix; Noah y Kai. Currently a Licensed Minister, Mayra graduated from the SeBAH-CoB ministry training program of the Brethren Academy in 2019. During her years in ministry, she has served the Hispanic community in different capacities. She has worked at the Pennsylvania Migrant Education Program at Millersville University as a Student Support Specialist for PA migrant farm workers for almost 18 years.  This allows her to connect with many immigrant families and to support and connect them with programs available in the community. Mayra has been married to Liborio Calix for 33 years and they have 3 wonderful kids, Kevin (called home to be with the Lord), Kathleen, and Elizabeth Calix and two amazing grandkids, Noah and Kai. Prior to ministry, he had a career in construction, working as a finish carpenter and cabinet maker.
