We seek to empower MVPs to nurture strong Peer relationships with others and to develop healthy physical, emotional, and spiritual Practices to sustain them in their ministry. But often disagreements devolve into intractable conflicts that threaten our very identity. Resolving conflict isn\u2019t always as simple as agreeing not to fight anymore\u2014truly transforming conflict often requires a deep dive into our sense of who we are and our formational experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mediator, professor, and consultant Betty Pries leads us into that deep territory in her book <em>The Space Between Us: Conversations about Transforming Conflict<\/em>. Join us for a 9-week discussion of Dr Pries\u2019 book leading up to her presentations at Annual Conference this year in Fort Wayne. Pries will encourage us to reflect on our selfhood and the way our sense of self impacts our relationships and can contribute to conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The discussion will be facilitated by Circuit Rider John Fillmore, and will be held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm Eastern Time (4 pm Pacific). Davis, and Andrea Sielaff. \u201cResilience.\u201d Center for Transforming Engagement.   <a href=\"https:\/\/transformingengagement.org\/resources\/the-resilience-report\">https:\/\/transformingengagement.org\/resources\/the-resilience-report<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The post-resurrection appearance of Jesus on the Emmaus Road is powerful because it reminds us that Jesus\u2019 presence is as important as his sermons and stories.&nbsp; Jesus was present as the two confessed what was weighing deep within each of them.&nbsp; Not only did they share with one another, Jesus walked alongside them hoping to sense where they were on their journey.&nbsp; Jesus then reminds them their story is not yet complete, that God\u2019s plan is unfolding before them.&nbsp; His reassurance was simple and profound, so much so they invited him to stay.&nbsp; Around the fellowship of the table that evening \u2013 in a place of mutual discovery and exploration \u2013 Jesus reveals himself.&nbsp; Following events that left them questioning nearly everything, they found themselves in a space of genuine care and companionship with Jesus himself.&nbsp; It was there they knew their journey was valued and that, without a doubt, God\u2019s plan would continue to unfold.&nbsp; With renewed faith for their journey, the two shared the hope and joy of the evening with their companions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Previous events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Two Hats One Heart Webinar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>October 9,2025 from 7:30-9:00 pm EST<\/strong><br><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosted by <strong>Part-Time Pastor; Full-Time Church<\/strong> facilitated by Circuit Rider <strong>Angela Carr<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you have a full-time career while also serving the church as a part-time pastor?
