Trauma Healing and Reconciliation Services (THARS), a group of psychosocial practitioners and peacemakers who contribute to healing and peacemaking in Burundi and the Great Lakes Region of Africa.

Fundación Brethren Y Unida (FBU), an Ecuadorian non-profit organisation established in 1953 to serve campesino families in the development of social, education, and economic alternatives to better their lives with solidarity and respect for the environment.

Capstone 118 works in the lower 9th ward of New Orleans on community gardens.

Haiti Medical Project works with the community development staff of Eglise des Freres in Haiti to provide clean drinking water.

National Farm Worker Ministry educates and mobilizes faith communities, groups, and individuals to support farm worker led campaigns to improve farm workers’ working and living conditions.

Bread for the World offers free resources for activities, study, and worship.

Through Growing Hope Globally (formerly Food Resources Bank). member organizations, including the Church of the Brethren, help smallholder farmers in 32 countries grow lasting solutions to hunger. In the States, GHG sponsors local growing projects linking congregations with development programs abroad.

Communitywide CROP Hunger Walks raise funds to reduce hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice. Some 1,600 are conducted each year. Proceeds support the ministries of Church World Service and local hunger programs. Plan a walk or find out where to participate.

Lybrook Community Ministries is an independent not-for-profit organization charged with re-vitalizing the ministries of the historic Lybrook Mission. Lybrook Navajo Mission was formed in 1952 by the Church of the Brethren. Its focus in response to the special needs of the area has included sharing the Gospel, combating alcoholism, providing public education and medical care, and meeting numerous community and family needs including maintaining a cemetery and providing a source of safe potable water to the area.

The Randolph Street Community Garden is a volunteer run project committed to providing an opportunity for the residents of the north end of Champaign (Ill.) to grow their own fresh organic produce, not only providing an inexpensive source of healthy, nutritious produce, but also improving the quality of life in the community. The garden was begun as a outreach of the Champaign Church of the Brethren.

Camden Community Garden is a collaboration of The Corner Church Collective, which includes Community of Joy (a Church of the Brethren congregation) in Salisbury, Maryland. The gardens provide an easy connection with the children of the neighborhood for the purposes of teaching them about growing healthy food and engaging them in positive activities.
