The Open Roof Award is given to Church of the Brethren congregations that have put forth significant effort to establish and grow ministries for and with persons of all abilities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open Roof congregations are enriched through diversity and enlivened by welcoming persons of all abilities into Christian fellowship, worship, education, discipleship, and service. They seek to ensure that \u201call may worship, serve, be served, learn and grow in the presence of God as valued members in the Christian community.\u201d The Church of the Brethren Disabilities Ministry Office and the Anabaptist Disabilities Network will invite award recipients to become an ADN Partner Congregation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications for the Open Roof Award are due\u00a0June 1<\/strong>\u00a0(so that new congregations can be recognized at Annual Conference). Please\u00a0fill out the form online<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0print out a copy<\/a>\u00a0and follow the instructions provided for submission. If your congregation is interested in analyzing your attitudes and accommodation of persons of all abilities, explore the resources offered by the Anabaptist Disabilities Network<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
