Relationship of skills/experience to the position
I am in my 7th year of pastoral ministry, so I understand unique challenges ministers face. But I also owned a small business for 14 years with 10 employees, so I understand the challenge of balancing budgets with caring for staff. Following my MBA, I served in a management position, which included annual salary reviews for my staff.

Faith Statement
I trust in our Creator Father God’s grace through the sacrificial death of his Son Jesus Christ and seek the guidance of his Holy Spirit to live as Jesus taught and to guide my reading of the inspired Scriptures.
Vision
Congregations increasingly find themselves hiring part time pastors today. As a retired bi-vocational pastor, I can bring their voice to the discussion.
Intercultural Work
I have a great interest in the global church. My personal experience is two short-term trips to Haiti. We have hosted international exchange students and have friends from different backgrounds from mine.
