Forming and educating stewards
As followers of Jesus, we seek to live full and generous lives — lives that reflect our gratitude for all of God’s gifts to us — gifts encompassing all of our living:
Striving to be faith-filled and faithful stewards, we try to live lives that carefully tend or manage all of life. “Baptized in Stewardship” event - POSTPONED Future date to be determined. The story is told of emperor Charlemagne who had his army baptized: He instructed them to hold their swords above the water so their arms would still be free to do as he wished in battle. This “withholding approach” is often applied to our faith, but stewardship is about getting soaked. The Rev. Philip and Ms. Janet Jamieson (CPA), professors at Dubuque University, will share “immersion perspectives” on ministry and money from theological and practical viewpoints. Sessions will include:
