Health Care Reform Debate
A “Statement on Health Care” has been prepared by an ad hoc committee of former board members of the Association of Brethren Caregivers, intended to offer helpful biblical foundations and suggestions for Brethren concerned about the national conversation about health care. Click here for the document from the ad hoc committee.
The church’s official position statement on health care is the Annual Conference statement of 1989 titled “Statement on Health Care in the United States.” Click here for the full Annual Conference statement.
The Church of the Brethren invites you to participate in a survey on health care reform. Your responses will be helpful to our Mission and Ministry Board as it considers how the church will continue to share its voice in this critical, national discussion. Click here for the survey.
