On Saturday morning, General Secretary Stan Noffsinger greeted the group, causing them to chuckle when he told them that in 50 years, their grandchildren would be looking at a picture of this conference trying to pick out “Grandma and Grandpa.” Noffsinger encouraged the youth to take seriously their role in the church, reminding them that they won’t be the church in some distant time; rather, they are the church today.
