A plenary session on the importance of the Old Testament to Brethren thought was given by Chris Bucher, who is the Carl W. Zeigler Professor of Religion at Elizabethtown College, where she also is dean of faculty. She spoke on the topic, “The New Testament Is Our Creed: Brethren and the Canon.”
