Dale Stoffer, chair of the Brethren Church’s anniversary committee, is academic dean and professor of historical theology at Ashland (Ohio) Theological Seminary where he teaches in the fields of church history, theology, and Brethren, Anabaptist, and Pietist studies. He offered a plenary session on “Balancing Word and Spirit in Anabaptist, Pietist, and Brethren Hermeneutics.”
