An academic conference celebrating the 300th anniversary of the Brethren movement was held at the Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies on the campus of Elizabethtown (Pa.) College, on Oct. 11-13. The conference was attended by some 106 participants and presenters, and included plenary sessions and a variety of other presentations of academic papers and panel discussions on Brethren theology, history, missions, contemporary issues, peace, hymnody, ministry, and service, as well as moments of worship.
