The theme for the 2012 One Great Hour of Sharing offering continues to be Sharing Brings Joy, and this year the focus is sharing joy with others. Resources collected from this offering will strengthen partnerships around the world by supporting Church of the Brethren ministries like Global Mission and Service, Brethren Volunteer Service, Workcamp ministry, and many others.

Service 1 A full worship order, including bread and cup communion, organized around the the theme of sowing bountifully. This service includes hymn suggestions from Hymnal: A Worship Book published by Brethren Press.
Sevice 2 This order of worship, built around the theme of sharing abundantly, includes the sharing of the bread and cup. This act of communion, however, is envisioned to take place without the actual bread and juice, thus challenging the congregation to imagine places in the world devastated by natural and economic disasters, and war. This resource includes a sermon starter as well as an outline for a children's story.
Service 3 A full worship order, including bread and cup communion, built around stories of God's generosity exemplified in the practices of Christian communities. This service also contains hymn suggestions from Hymnal: A Worship Book published by Brethren Press.
Service 4 A full worship order that recalls God's gracious abundance and the biblical vision that all will have enough. This service also offers music suggestions from Hymnal: A Worship Book published by Brethren Press.
