Linda teaches reading to struggling 1st graders in an inner-city school. She is the DOV Coordinator at the 1st Church of the Brethren in San Diego, CA. Her passionate peacemaking began after her husband's grandmother was murdered by a drug abuser. Linda has been involved in the creation of a number of violence prevention resources (www.cob-net.org/docs/williams.htm), and is Co-Authoring the forthcoming Chicken Soup for the Peace Lover's Soul. Her hope and prayer is that mainstream America will read the book and say, "Gee! Nonviolence! What a concept!"
