Support for Christian Peacemaker Teams

Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) is part of a growing movement of people seeking active and feasible alternatives to war. CPT places small teams of Christians trained in nonviolence into areas of lethal or pervasive conflict to attempt to prevent death and violence or otherwise intervene in creative ways.
On Earth Peace supports Christian Peacemaker Teams especially within the Church of the Brethren by supporting congregation members to participate in delegations to conflict zones, and itinerating returned peace workers to speak & preach about their experiences while abroad.
Delegations
On Earth Peace has small grants available to Church of the Brethren members and friends who wish to participate in CPT or other peacemaking delegations. Contact Matt Guynn at peacewitness_oepa@brethren.org to inquire or apply.
On Earth Peace annually co-sponsors a Christian Peacemaker Team delegation to Israel/Palestine. Click here for more info.
Speakers
Regular CPT field workers who are rooted in the Church of the Brethren include Peggy Faw Gish, Art Gish, Cliff Kindy, and Rick Polhamus. All have extensive experience with nonviolent peacemaking on the ground in Israel/Palestine and Iraq.
