The On Earth Peace Board of Directors invites you to share your time, energy, and skills as a volunteer for On Earth Peace. Volunteer opportunities include leadership, hospitality and logistical support, communication support, designated giving options, volunteer coordinators, and specified expertise. Communications
- District Conference Assistant: Coordinate logistics and displays at district conferences. Requires persistence, e-mail access, and familiarity with district and denominational structures.
- Peace Basket Coordinator: Check in Peace Basket materials, prepare and ship Baskets, and store Baskets that are not in circulation.
- Counter-recruitment Resource Volunteer: Help develop organizing and outreach packet for counter recruitment organizers, print and assemble new copies, and fill orders.
- Peace Witness Action List Editor(s): Gather stories about creative and empowered action for change, write brief elicitive reflections on Christian peacemaking, distribute 3-5 items weekly to listserv, maintain listserv.
- Counter-recruitment Call Mobilizer: Promote and enroll for monthly networking calls for counter-recruitment organizers,maintain registration and contact lists, and assist with call logistics.
- Welcome Home Project Coordinator: Coordinate contacts with congregations interested in establishing ministries for returning veterans, set up speakers, and contribute to program development.
