Stewardship often happens behind the scenes, but without the giving and support of many people, the ministries of the General Board couldn't happen. Gifts are used to fund these ministries, and staff invest and use those gifts wisely.

Centralized Resources oversees much of this activity by maintaining General Board properties, overseeing all financial matters, and carrying out the day-to-day tasks necessary to keep it all running smoothly. The Funding Office connects those who want to give with places their financial gifts can help. Resource counselors in each area of the country aid this effort.

The Global Food Crisis Fund and Emergency Disaster Fund meet specific needs, sending aid for world hunger and disaster relief, respectively, with grants made as opportunities for reaching out arise.

Brethren believe that we are stewards of all that God has given us, including our material resources. Sharing these resources is a way of faithfully continuing the work of Jesus.
